The Alfa Medical Analysis Laboratory offers 7 blood collection points, where all laboratory tests for adults and children can be performed on the National Health Service (NHS) or on a self-pay basis.
To take the tests, simply go to one of the collection points without an appointment.
In most cases, the tests do not require any special preparation, other than simply fasting for at least 8 hours before the blood sample is taken.
Reservations are required for vaginal, urethral, and cervical swabs, Pap tests, and food intolerance screenings.
The glucose load test is performed from Monday to Friday, without an appointment, by showing up at the blood collection point in Meda at 7:15 am.
Results are delivered on the same day as the sample collection, or the following day, depending on the complexity of the analyses to be performed. Through the SISS service, reports are published in the citizen’s Electronic Health Record (FSE) and are, therefore, made electronically visible to the attending physician or to the patient themselves, provided they have activated their Regional Services Card. At the patient’s request, data may be masked and, therefore, not made visible in the FSE.

Some check-ups are specifically designed for men and others for women, differentiated by age.
The check-up evaluates the state of health both for preventive purposes and to monitor any already known pathologies.
